How photography connects us to the world: David Griffin on TED.com
Posted by Dean Bradshaw | Filed under Thoughts and Theory
TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds and has blossomed into an annual conference which now brings together the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers.
Some amazing talks about photography have been at TED conferences, including memorable appearances by one of my favourite photographers, Frans Lanting and a great humanitarian photographer, Phil Borges. In this talk, the photo director for National Geographic, David Griffin explains the power of photography to connect us to our world.
